Dog Food

A lot of dog food has unpleasant ingredients in it such as animal byproducts. But there are also foods available that only have wholesome, good ingredients in them. We should pick our dog’s food as carefully as we pick our own.

One of the biggest problems with dog food is that it all looks the same. There is no way to tell what is in it just by looking at the kibbles. This means that a good look at the list of ingredients is needed.

Try to get food that has a meat as the first ingredient, and not as a “byproduct.” Vegetables are good in dog food, but since dogs are naturally carnivorous, meat should be the first ingredient. When you are looking at the ingredients, ask yourself if you would eat those things. If not, question why you should feed them to your dog.
