More dog clothes hit the shelves of pet stores every year. A lot of people like to buy these items for their dogs because they’re fun. Some dog owners dress their dogs up every day, but many just do it a couple times a year.

Costumes are the most popular kind of dog clothes. Lots of people buy dog costumes every Halloween and dress their pooch up like the rest of the family. Other major holidays also often come with costumes that you can get for your dog.

Other dog clothes are actually supposed to protect your pet against the elements. There are coats that keep them from getting too cold or wet. There are also booties you can get to protect their feet from snow and ice. In the summer time you can look for vests and bandannas that are made to keep them cool while they play.
